I have the advantage of a lot of contacts in the UK to my facilitation of HTG11 in the UK. So I heard about a presentation last Monday to the London SBS User's Group, and got some great learning resources I wanted to pass on.

Matt McSpirit is a PTS in the UK who focuses on Virtualization technologies. (And in the UK, that's Virtualisation. Less Zeds, more "S").

Big news in the world of virtualization support today. Microsoft and Red Hat have announced that they are working together to certify their solutions on each other's hypervisors.

This is big news. It's important for two reasons. First, it's a clear sign of the industry being committed to making virtualization work for customers.

I wasn't sure I ever got this resource online, so I wanted to get it out there.

There is a solution documentation that is intended to provide you with'an overview of virtualization in an environment based on the Windows® Small Business Server' 2008 software suite.

I've used this example myself several times, but wanted to direct everyone to the SBS Documentation Team, who comment on it themselves. Virtualization in the SMB, yet another example.

There is some new Gartner data out about the Worldwide Virtualization (with an S for this article as it comes from the UK), and Gartner Says Worldwide Virtualisation Software Revenue to Increase 43 Per Cent in 2009: ""
